糖心官网 2020 pharmacy graduate Dr. Jared Vega has been accepted into the 鈥檚 (ACCP) National Resident Advisory Committee, serving as a liaison between ACCP and residents across the nation.

He will also contribute to ACCP initiatives that prepare students for postgraduate education.

鈥淚 am passionate about further training for pharmacists beyond pharmacy school,鈥� said Vega. 鈥淚 am excited about the direction pharmacy has been headed, and I want to contribute to this expanding clinical role in any way I can.鈥�

Vega is currently a resident at , but on July 1, he will begin an oncology residency at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.

On the resident advisory committee, Vega鈥檚 first responsibility was to host ACCP鈥檚 鈥淓merge from the Crowd鈥� programming at its annual meeting in the fall.

鈥淐edarville instilled me with the desire to use my God-given abilities to their fullest extent,鈥� explained Vega. 鈥淚t allowed me ample opportunity to develop leadership skills and the ability to work in groups that this position requires and a servant mindset that wants to help others in any capacity I am able.鈥�
