October 4, 2022 — Historically, ���Ĺ���’s annual fall career fair is the largest opportunity for students to interact with prospective employers. This is expected to be the case on Wednesday, Oct. 5, when 177 organizations participate in Cedarville’s fair in the Doden Field House. The event, which is open to the public, is from 11 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.

October 3, 2022 — On October 1, during the official groundbreaking ceremony of the Lorne C. Scharnberg Business Center, ���Ĺ��� announced the official naming of the University’s business school as the Robert W. Plaster School of Business.

September 30, 2022 — Hannah Nocella ‘20, Abbie Nilius ‘19, and Bekah Colon ’19 didn’t know they would end up traveling the country together when they started nursing school at ���Ĺ���. Hannah and Bekah met during their first nursing class freshman year, and the three of them have been inseparable ever since their sophomore years.

September 29, 2022 — Iconic events, class reunions and the groundbreaking ceremony for the $40 million Lorne C. Scharnberg Business Center will highlight ���Ĺ���’s annual homecoming festivities September 30 and October 1.

September 28, 2022 — Homecoming week at ���Ĺ��� isn’t just exciting events and reunions, it also serves as the time to honor alumni and those who have served the university.

September 28, 2022 — The official groundbreaking ceremony of the Lorne C. Scharnberg Business Centerwill be held on Friday, Sept. 30, at 11 a.m. at ���Ĺ���.

September 27, 2022 — ���Ĺ��� engineering students hope to stay afloat during the 30th annual cardboard canoe race on Friday, September 30, from 3-5 p.m. at the university’s Cedar Lake. Hundreds of spectators will line the sidewalks around the lake to cheer on the handmade boats.

September 23, 2022 — Daniel Kinniburgh’s faith journey began early and carried him from a small town in the west to Cedarville, Ohio, to Vietnam and back. Dan was in grade school when a missionary from Pennsylvania started pastoring a church in the small Montana town where Dan was from. Dan and his family began attending Pastor Warner’s church, and they came to know the Lord. Pastor Warner’s children went to Cedarville College at the time, and Dan later followed their example.

September 23, 2022 — The Rock has been a Cedarville tradition since 1978. It was initially placed near the Tyler Digital Communication Center, but was eventually moved near Cedar Lake between the Stevens Student Center and Dixon Ministry Center.

September 22, 2022 — For its fall mainstage production, the ���Ĺ��� theatre department will perform “The Giver,” the award-winning book by Lois Lowry, adapted for the stage by Eric Coble.

September 21, 2022 — For the first time in ���Ĺ���'s history, a brother and sister are working together to foster a closer relationship between bro-sis residence halls.

September 20, 2022 — Socialism’s persisting influence on American culture has been a long-term concern amongst political conservatives. In light of this, ���Ĺ��� will host a panel discussion on the topic with renowned author Dr. Wayne Grudem.

September 19, 2022 — Dwayne Moore, founder of Next Level Worship International, Inc., and ���Ĺ���’s worship department are partnering to host the global student worship gathering on Wednesday, Sept. 21, at 1 p.m. in the Dixon Ministry Center Recital Hall. The event is free and open to the public.

September 16, 2022 — It was his eighth grade earth science class that sparked John Whitmore’s love of science and fossils. He decided at a young age that he wanted to be a paleontologist.

September 15, 2022 — For first-year social work major Amber Anderson, her major is more than just a career path. It is what defines her life as she knows it.

September 14, 2022 — The nonprofit organization Samaritan’s Purse hopes to positively impact students through its upcoming Prescription for Renewal Medical Missions Conference in Orlando, Florida.

September 12, 2022 — For the first time in ���Ĺ���'s 135-year history, more than 5,000 students are enrolled in undergraduate, graduate, and online programs. The 2022-23 enrollment of 5,082 is an increase of 367 students, or 7.8%, from last year's record 4,715 enrollment, and it represents the positive momentum that is taking place at ���Ĺ���.

September 9, 2022 — As a 16-year-old, Jeff Bates worked in a small grocery store in Gladwin, Michigan, his hometown. This store had a small drug store called the Prescription Shop, and Jeff was inspired by its pharmacist’s service to the community. This pharmacist offered himself to the community, and that greatly inspired Jeff to pursue pharmacy in the same way.

September 9, 2022 — More than 80 ���Ĺ��� faculty and staff members were honored on Friday, Aug. 12, for their years of service to the university.

September 8, 2022 — The Strategic Ohio Council for Higher Education (SOCHE) has presented ���Ĺ���’s Mark D. Weinstein, executive director of public relations, with a Staff Excellence Award for September 2022.
