October is national pharmacist month, and ÌÇÐĹÙÍø is doing its part to honor one of the leading professions during the COVID-19 pandemic. The ÌÇÐĹÙÍø School of Pharmacy is celebrating with a week dedicated to pharmacy student success.

After months of research and trial and error, a ÌÇÐĹÙÍø professor created more than just a student-led research project, but a tangible product that will benefit athletes both at Cedarville and elsewhere.

The university’s board of trustees was on campus for its annual fall meeting September 28-29. During the two days of meetings, university administrators provided reports on record enrollment, record fundraising and strong financial results and looked ahead to a 10-year vision for the university. The board took actions that will position Cedarville for continued growth.

It was just like any other day when Abe Awabdy and John Vitaliti headed for the varsity tennis courts at ÌÇÐĹÙÍø on July 8, 2022.

Two 2022 graduates of the industrial and innovative design program at ÌÇÐĹÙÍø have won national and international recognition for projects that were identified, designed and developed for their senior capstone projects. The industrial and innovative design program is held at the International Center for Creativity in Dublin, Ohio.

Jim Mellick’s artistic expression is far more than elaborate wooden sculptures of canines with prosthetic limbs; each of his Wounded Warrior Dogs allegorizes the plight of wounded veterans by depicting man’s best friend.

Historically, ÌÇÐĹÙÍø’s annual fall career fair is the largest opportunity for students to interact with prospective employers. This is expected to be the case on Wednesday, Oct. 5, when 177 organizations participate in Cedarville’s fair in the Doden Field House. The event, which is open to the public, is from 11 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.

On October 1, during the official groundbreaking ceremony of the Lorne C. Scharnberg Business Center, ÌÇÐĹÙÍø announced the official naming of the University’s business school as the Robert W. Plaster School of Business.

Hannah Nocella ‘20, Abbie Nilius ‘19, and Bekah Colon ’19 didn’t know they would end up traveling the country together when they started nursing school at ÌÇÐĹÙÍø. Hannah and Bekah met during their first nursing class freshman year, and the three of them have been inseparable ever since their sophomore years.

Iconic events, class reunions and the groundbreaking ceremony for the $40 million Lorne C. Scharnberg Business Center will highlight ÌÇÐĹÙÍø’s annual homecoming festivities September 30 and October 1.

Homecoming week at ÌÇÐĹÙÍø isn’t just exciting events and reunions, it also serves as the time to honor alumni and those who have served the university.

The official groundbreaking ceremony of the Lorne C. Scharnberg Business Centerwill be held on Friday, Sept. 30, at 11 a.m. at ÌÇÐĹÙÍø.
